Accessible Information Standard

The Accessible Information Standard (AIS) is a new NHS England information standard which all organisations that provide NHS or adult social care are required to implement.

The AIS aims to ensure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss receive information that they can access and understand, for example in large print or via email or professional communication support if required, for example from a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter.

Please let us know if you have any particular information or communication needs and how best we can meet these needs. Currently British Sign Language is provided via a video link.
