About me:
Caroline joined the surgery in 2005 as a receptionist and has since built a deep, wide‑ranging understanding of practice operations through a variety of roles, including healthcare assistant and medical secretary. Her experience and commitment to the practice led to her appointment as Assistant Practice Manager in 2015, and she now serves as Deputy Practice Manager.
Caroline plays a central role in the smooth running of the surgery. She oversees diary management and leads on Locally Commissioned Services claims, securing vital funding that directly supports patient care. She maintains all key practice registers, including safeguarding and veterans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely updates. Caroline also works closely with the lead partner and practice pharmacist on medicines management, contributing to safe, effective prescribing and robust clinical governance.
Known for her reliability and calm approach, Caroline provides essential support to the entire practice team. She deputises for the Practice Manager when required, ensuring continuity, stability, and strong leadership across the organisation.
