Firearms Licensing – Practice Policy

Our practice does not provide firearms or shotgun licensing medical reports.

Medical reports for firearms licensing are non‑NHS services, and GP practices are not required to offer them. National guidance confirms that GPs may decline to participate in the firearms licensing process. [bma.org.uk]

If you need a medical report for your application, please contact your local firearms licensing unit, who can advise you on alternative doctors who offer this service privately.
