Our Healthcare Assistants play a vital role in supporting patient care across the practice. They work closely with our nursing and clinical teams to ensure patients receive high‑quality, efficient and compassionate support during their appointments.

What our HCAs do:

• Phlebotomy (blood tests)
• NHS Health Checks
• Mini‑spirometry to support respiratory assessments
• Minor wound care and dressing changes
• Assist with Minor Operations clinics
• Support Family Planning clinics
• Mental health check‑ins and reviews
• ECGs
• Urine testing and dipstick analysis
• Blood thinner (anticoagulation) reviews
• Blood pressure monitoring
• Height and weight measurements

Our HCAs are an essential part of the Wonersh Surgery team, helping to ensure patients receive timely, safe, and supportive care throughout their healthcare journey.
